While the 65 has a great clear picture, the remote does not have all of the features of the older version. For example the 2008 model has a guide button on the remote that gives information about the current show on TV as well as what's coming up. It took them 10 minutes to unpack the TV, get it up the stairs and onto my stand (I didn't pay for any fancy white glove as I knew I could take care of all that myself). I gotta say that for the price of this TV it is a outstanding value. It does take a bit of tweaking in the menu to get the brightness, contrast and color inline, but that is to be expected. Bad bulb/ballastBy JCHave had the TV for ~2 weeks now and haven't been able to watch for more than about an hour tops, and getting shorter. Apparently there is something wrong with the bulb/ballast. The picture just drops out and the green indicator turns solid red. The book says change the bulb. After the run around with Mitsu it took 5 days to get a new bulb and that didn't work.
