Toshiba 46WX800U

Do you need Toshiba 46WX800U 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz Cinema Series 3D LED TV, Black

Amazing 3D HDTV SetBy tgoldtechiei researched these types of sets for months for the family. surprisingly there were hardly any reviews on the 55wx800u - none on cnet or other major review sites. since my family loves toshiba products (3 generations of toshiba buying family members) we decided to take the plunge on this tv. reasonably priced with a whole host of settings to customize your tv's picture, if you like to tweak. if not, you can choose from some nice presets. overall, the color is vibrant, the set is very attractive - elegant, professional but not overly done like some other sets. prior ... »» Read more about Toshiba 46WX800U 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz Cinema Series 3D LED TV, Black.

Great Bang for the BuckBy KRRI was looking at New TV's for several months. I choose this one based on other reviews and because of the 240 Hz. The Picture is Great. The Set up is super easy. Watched the Super Bowl, and the NFC/AFC championship games on this HDTV. Did not blur at all and the picture was excellent. I have received a lot of compliments, as others are impressed with the picture too.See all 4 customer reviews... »» Read more about Philips 55PFL5505D/F7 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LCD HDTV, Black.

Better than 2009's Samsung edge lit LED LCD's...just not enough to eliminate a few issues/flawsBy A. LeethamI've owned this television for a few weeks now, and I've been putting it through a battery of tests using a variety of different sources and room lighting conditions. To get right to the point, I am returning it -- it will be picked up this week -- and waiting for either the UNC8000 precision dimming edge lit led set, or perhaps either the XBR-HX900 or XBR-LX900 from Sony. The C7000 is a good TV. It compares favorably -- if not signficantly so -- to any of the edge lit led ... »» Read more about Samsung UN55C7000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D LED HDTV (Black).

Finally an LCD competes with the best PlasmasBy J. FinkelThe UN55b8500 is Samsung's current flagship model and is the successor to the LN55A950. Picture QualityA full LED backlit LCD offering a stunning 7 million:1 contrast seperates the B8500 from other LCDs by reaching deep into pitch black, formely only possible with plasmas. Some LCDs turn off pixels to achieve inky blacks - ok for still pictures, but too slow to work with most video - basically a gimmick to inflate contrast numbers. The B8500 however, masters the darkest blacks and brightest whites to produce a bold three dimensional effect or "pop." Great picture, but a few glaring issues made me decide to return itBy P. RadhakrishnanIf you are seriously consider purchasing this tv, please read this review completely. This is a bit critical in nature, but I hope to provide a balanced review based on my experience with this unit. Depending on what you are looking for, this set may or may not work out well for you.Just for background context, I mainly watch HD content hooked up via hdmi on my PS3. LG 47LH90

Do you like LG 47LH90 47-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED Backlit LCD HDTV, Glossy Black/Infused Blue

LH90 Series is an Excellent LCD HDTVBy F. JuryThis TV was on my short list as soon as it was announced. It's a beautiful glossy black TV, with a subtle infused blue around the edges. The blue is only really visible in certain light, otherwise it just looks glossy black, but the TV looks beautiful either way. I don't care much for the "mole" that sticks down on the bottom left of the TV as I'm a fan of symmetry, however this is still a gorgeous TV. The LH90 series is LG's flagship LCD this year featuring backlit "local dimming" LED's, and in my IMO it's one of the ... »» Read more about LG 47LH90 47-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED Backlit LCD HDTV, Glossy Black/Infused Blue.

Best deal Samsung LN52B750 52-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LCD HDTV with Charcoal Grey Touch of Color

Great for mini home theaterBy EarlyMonI've been an HDTV owner for six years and during that time, I've assisted about two dozen friends in their HDTV home theater setups. I've just upgraded to the Samsung LN52B750 and I couldn't be happier. For reference, I'm upgrading from a Samsung DLP and I own another Samsung LCD HDTV.There's a lot that's misunderstood about this TV, so rather than the usual Pros and Cons, I'd like to share how I'm getting viewing value from this set.First, if you're reading this, you're either already an LCD owner or have read about them - and have read about this new breed and if ... »» Read more about Samsung LN52B750 52-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LCD HDTV with Charcoal Grey Touch of Color.

Buying Samsung UN55B8000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV

Startling clarity, detail, and colorBy MikeHad my Samsung UN55B8000 TV a couple of weeks now. It has more than lived up to the hype. Hooked it up and put on a blu-ray disk. Even the delivery guy's jaw dropped, and he's delivered/set up hundreds of TVs. TV is only inch and half thick and only weighs 60 pounds or so.In fact, it is sometimes almost too good. When viewing people on HD you can see every little mole, scar, wrinkle, stray hair, makeup, five o'clock shadow, makeup line, etc. I'm sitting here watching the news and I can clearly see tiny pieces of lint on the guy's black suit. Beautiful TV, although I think the 240hz is not a huge +By Beauty JunkeeThis TV has beautiful color and definition. I do still notice the blur you can get with fast motion, even though this is 240hz, but it is not that distracting. I think this was a fair price. Where can I get this VIZIO SV471XVT 47-Inch XVT-Series 240 Hz LCD HDTV

Vizio's best non-LED tv.By John MatrixI bought this tv about a week ago and have been really pleased. I previously had a 37" sharp 720p 60hz, and did not like it at all. Well after much research I had narrowed it down the Samsung LN46B750. Only problem is that tv is $1500+ dollars. So I wanted another choice and researched and for the price and quality, this Vizio is a no brainer. This XVT is Vizio's best model other than their new 55" LED.Appearance: It looks really nice. Good First Step into Full HD 3D, But Not PerfectBy Chris BoylanSamsung's UN55C8000 LED TV (LED backlit LCD) represents a good first step in full HD 3D technology, but it's definitely not without its flaws.Drawbacks:* High price* Problems handling 24 frame/second material (movies)* Mixed results with upconversion of standard def material to HD* Some crosstalk on native and upconverted 3D content* Some lighting uniformity issues (compared to best plasma and local-dimming sets)Pros:* Nice black levels and shadow detail for a super-thin (under 1-inch) edge-lit LED set* Bright, accurate colors* Energy efficient* Excellent 3D effect with native 3D content* Decent 3D upconversion of 2D content (varies based on content) * Extremely ... »» Read more about Samsung UN55C8000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D LED HDTV.

LG 47LH90

This brand new LG 47LH90 47-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED Backlit LCD HDTV, Glossy Black/Infused Blue

Definitely one of the best LCD sets on the marketBy KJNWonderful set. Picture is stunning with 1080 and 720 sources and looks good even with standard def. Set-up was straight forward. There is a picture wizard that gets you reasonable initial picture settings. Black levels are truly black, and depending on your brightness setting, you can make an all-black screen look like the TV is off. Colors appear to be accurate. The sweet-spot is quite wide, but once beyond 45 degrees or so off center, the blacks and colors fade a small amount. This being said, the picture is still quite good as ... »» Read more about LG 47LH90 47-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED Backlit LCD HDTV, Glossy Black/Infused Blue.
