I don't get the people who are complaining about the detachable speakers, they are the best sounding 1' deep speakers you will find, and you cannot compare them to an aftermarket sound system, it's just sense. While the 65 has a great clear picture, the remote does not have all of the features of the older version. For example the 2008 model has a guide button on the remote that gives information about the current show on TV as well as what's coming up. Also, there is no way to set the newer model to lengthen the life of the light bulb. I have not had to change the bulb on my 2008 model yet. I attribute that partially to the "power saver" feature. WheelerI love this TV. It has great black levels without losing details. Seriously the blacks get as dark as the bezel in a darkened room. Great color accuracy. Handles motion like a champ even converting 2D to 3D. Menus are very responsive and even the widgets are snappy. Samsung Apps/Netflix works great too.
